Do you like to read? Are there young children in your life who love to share their books? Then it's time for you to "Snuggle With a Book" and share the love of reading with children ages 0-6. Beginning February 1 and continuing until March 2, this program encourages adults to read aloud with children. Are you a daycare or preschool teacher? You may register your class to participate, also. To register, go to the Richmond Public Library website and click on the cute bunny or use this link: Snuggle With a Book. After signing up, log in to the page and record the books that are read with children during the month of February. Stop by the library after logging your first book and receive a sticker sheet to keep track of what you and your children are reading. After March 2, visit your local Richmond Public Library branch and receive a book and certificate of participation.
It's winter, it's cold and there is no better time to "Snuggle With a Book."
Sponsored by the Library of Virginia, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Smart Beginnings, Virginia

Tic-Tac-Toe at Your Library
From now until March 31st, we are offering a special incentive to get you to the library. Tic-Tac-Toe game boards are now available at your branch! Stop by to pick one up, fill out the game board as you read, and return it to your library for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card. Your game board is complete when you have 3 boxes in a row completed--horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Players can submit as many game cards as they are able to complete without repeating any of the book titles.
Return your completed game boards to any Richmond Public Library branch by 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 31st to be eligible to win a $50 Visa gift card.
