Harry Potter Mania!

Yes, the library branches will all have their copies of the latest Harry Potter book at their locations on Saturday morning at 10am. Patrons showing up at the library will get first crack at the book for check out but as we only have a very few books going to each location, the next best thing is to put the book on hold. This cannot be done until Saturday, July 21st.

To place a hold from any computer:

go to the library home page (http://www.richmondpubliclibrary.org/)

In the upper right of the screen type in user ID and PIN
... user ID - barcode number on library card - starts with 10001...
... PIN - this is assigned at your local library - you may need to visit there to get the PIN set up.

In the white box, type harry potter.

Click the Details button on the left.

The title will not allow holds until Saturday, July 21st, after 10am. Click the Place Hold link on the left.

In the next screen, select the pick up library.

Click button Place Hold.

Your local library will call you when the book comes in.
