This Saturday, August 1st, marks the Grand Finale of Summer Reading! Join us at the Main Public Library for a FREE Grand Street Party Finale that will honor all of our Summer Reading participants and offer many fun activities!
The celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m., with creative activities, story time, and performances running all day! The current schedule includes:
10:00 a.m. Creating Jack Tales – A new play with original music by Rags to Riches theatre group for young audiences.
12:00 p.m. Recognition & Winners – Top readers are announced and the winning computer coupons are drawn!
2:00 p.m. Make Music with Me Band – Express yourself and get into jazz with the Richmond Jazz Society.
