Books & Ballet @ Main

In partnership with the Richmond Ballet, Tulsa-based dancer and choreographer discusses Li Cunxin’s captivating memoir, Mao’s Last Dancer. Cunxin, a Chinese dancer, captured the attention of the nation with his inspiring story of passion, perseverance, and devotion set against Communist China. Cong, whose experience echoes Cunxin’s, will speak about his life and dance career in relation to the bestselling book, and his World Premiere with Richmond Ballet. This event will be free and open to the public.
