The Amazing Raise

           On Wednesday and Thursday, September 19^th and 20^th, the City of Richmond Public Library Foundation will be joining hundreds of other area non-profits in the Community Foundation’s Amazing Raise.  From 6 am on the 19^th through 6 pm on September 20^th, your donation to benefit the Library Foundation can help us qualify for additional prizes from the Community Foundation.   Gifts made to the Library Foundation anytime during this campaign are much appreciated, but we are targeting specific times to increase of our chances of earning additional cash prizes.

In particular, we’d like to ask you to consider a donation of $50 or more between 6 am and 7 am on Wednesday, September 19^th.  The first 15 organizations to receive 50 gifts of at least $50 will receive an additional $2,500!  Only one gift per donor, per organization, will count towards the prize.

                If a morning donation isn’t convenient, please consider a gift on Thursday, September 20^th, between 5 pm and 6 pm, when $1,000 will be awarded to the organization receiving the most donations during this time.

                If you have ever considered donating to the City of Richmond Public Library, now is a great time to do it!  The organization with the largest increase in the number of donations for this campaign will win an additional $1,000.  This is your chance to make your donation go even further by helping us win the most improved prize.
