Winter Reading Program-"Snuggle With a Book"

Do you like to read?  Are there young children in your life who love to share their books?  Then it's time for you to "Snuggle With a Book" and share the love of reading with children ages 0-6. Beginning February 1 and continuing until March 2, this program encourages adults to read aloud with children.  Are you a daycare or preschool teacher?  You may register your class to participate, also.  To register, go to the Richmond Public Library website and click on the cute bunny or use this link:  Snuggle With a Book.  After signing up, log in to the page and record the books that are read with children during the month of February.  Stop by the library after logging your first book and receive a sticker sheet to keep track of what you and your children are reading.  After March 2, visit your local Richmond Public Library branch and receive a book and certificate of participation.
It's winter, it's cold and there is no better time to "Snuggle With a Book."
Sponsored by the Library of Virginia, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Smart Beginnings, Virginia Department of Social Services, and Read Aloud Virginia.
