Book Bingo!

It's a great time of year to stay inside and get cozy with a book, but as the winter duldrums set in, everyone starts to feel a bit restless.

Not to worry. Richmond Public Library can help break up your old winter reading routine as we move into spring. It's time for a rousing game of Book Bingo!

Participants of this winter reading program for adults (teens are also welcome) should first pick up a game board from their library. The game board looks like this:

Once you get your bingo card, start reading! When you finish a book that fits into one of the categories on the game card, write the title of the book under that category. When you've read your way across the bingo card, fill out the "1st Bingo" slip at the bottom of your game card and give it to a RPL staff member.

You have three chances to get a Bingo and win prizes.
  • Complete your 1st Bingo by Friday, February 18th and you'll be entered to win a $15 WaWa gift card.
  • Complete your 2nd Bingo by Friday, March 11 and get a chance to win a $25 Martin's gift card.
  • Participants that complete a 3rd Bingo will be enetered into a drawing for a $50 Visa gift card.
Not bad for winter reading, huh? You can pick up your Bingo card starting February 1st.

I like picking my books by ther covers! These are fun ways to think about what to read next. I'll be curious to see what Ellen and Shannon select to read!
